Entrepreneur: The one who finds a way

My last publication entitled Defeating Analysis Paralysis showed you how I was winning the self-mind game, which I can distill into this quote of mine:

‘‘You either make a decision or you let someone else make them for you.’’

Today, I want to share my debut in the client service world and how hard it was for me to stick my neck out and get rid of my half-pregnant state. Enjoy.

Story Time

I’ve been brewing the idea of establishing my own social media agency with its own legal entity for about 5 years (since 2014).

— Yeah, that’s a long long time for an self-proclaimed ‘entrepreneur’ right?

It’s even worst than what you think.

Most of my time is deployed working on my dad’s business, Nanogrande : The only company with the capability of manufacturing 3D printed parts for industrial applications worldwide! And my skills are proving to be quite useful to this day. New website, quality pictures, better market assessments, newly defined voice of brand and (more importantly) new leads knocking on their doors.

I like to think that I’m currently using my greatest talents to help market and drive attention to businesses and personal brands as a freelancer of some sort…but the truth is I am just like an employee at the moment, even though my status is ‘external marketing consultant’.

My goal with his business is to elevate Nanogrande’s notoriety, bring sales, find investors, and enable funding (Attention is the goal) while, in parallel, turning my dad, Juan Schneider, into the leading expert in nanotechnology applied to additive manufacturing (3D printing).

— Here’s an example of a booth I made for a trade-show in Altanta.

The problem now is my dad has become by boss and instead of getting inquiries from multiple businesses, like I should be looking (hustlin’) for as an aspiring entrepreneur, I’m feeling more and more like an employee of the company.

Nothing wrong with it, but I know my capabilities and my potential in entrepreneurship exceeds that of my current state. I desire to be a major player in my industry, help companies prosper, getting to play the game of business building for the sheer fun of having to make thrilling decisions AND being fully responsible for them.

Actually, I want to enable other business owner to live their passion and get paid for it.

The problem was, I was not seizing the moment because I felt paralyzed.

Why? you ask.

I felt like I wasn’t good enough.

Over-thinking to find the best course of action, always trying to find the best way to build a team and being able to pay them while ensuring I have a steady flow of clients.

For f**ks sake I’M A MARKETER (and a good one at that) I was also previously a top-producing salesman for a big corporation! What is this none-sense? (But wait there’s more dwelling :)

Not wanting to choose a niche was also paralyzing me because I’m not only interested in technology or additive manufacturing.

I’m passionate by the creation and not the end result!

Building processes, making up strategies, thinking about crazy ideas and new shifting perspective that completely change the game. That’s what I’m passionate about!

(I get literal chills writing this section)

Unfortunately, and I take full responsibility, what I wanted wasn’t happening because I was staying in a passive mode, where my thoughts were eating away my sleep, my energy and my positivism.

I’m glad I’m this way… that it took this long to beginfor real— my journey.

Because now I can share, my thoughts, my process and my struggles.

Now I can go-out and tell someone without shame :

I’m an entrepreneur, I always find a way.

Thanks you very much for reading this, now it’s your turn to implement and act on your ambition.

Whether you’re trying to reach a better situation in life, moving forward with your business idea or just sleeping better at night; we all need a little push sometimes.

Share this with someone that needs it (please), because it could truly resonate with him even if it didn’t for you. Don’t be afraid to leave me a comment and feedback.
